"DISCOVER THE DOMINION OF CANADA" - 1867 through Re-enactment and Trade

the Confederation of Canada from 11 to 13 August 2017. This will be a

Join us as we celebrate Upper Canada becoming part of the New Dominion of Canada 1867
We will have music, dancing and re-enactors and Ward Wright, the international knife thrower will be showing off his skills. Trappers and Voyageurs, Prospectors, Spinners, Weavers, Blacksmith and Carpenter will also set up their tents and join in this wonderful interactive experience. You can see how ropes are made, the hit and miss engines, square timber and logging and visit an apothecary and our outdoor oven. Our gift shop will also be open and if you are hungry or thirsty, we will have a canteen where you can purchase your favourite treats. Listen to our great entertainers while you are taking a break.
Meet our youth volunteers and discover the skills they have learned this summer.
Lots of vendors will be on site.

For the Children: Enjoy a Horse and Wagon ride, attend school 1893, play games, laundry, face painting by Justina Sadecki, Bunnies at the barn.
